Each room is approx 19 m2 with an individual ensuite of approx 5 m2. All rooms enjoy a view of a courtyard or garden area. 32 rooms are in a section of the building opened in 2006 with the remaining 60 beds opened in October 2009. All rooms are bright and modern and tastefully furnished.
Common Areas Description
Wharparilla Lodge is divided into 6 distinct areas with 15 or 16 residents accommodated in each section. Each section has its own dining room, lounge room and quiet room to create a more homely atmosphere for residents. One section is a secure dementia specific area where additional care is provided to residents with dementia. Each section is built around an inviting courtyard area where residents can sit and enjoy the gardens or sunshine.
